We have, as human beings, a storytelling problem. We're a bit too quick to come up with explinations for things we don't really have an explination for.

So today is kinda looking like the calm before another snowstorm, which I hope hits my spanish class hard and swift with no mercy. I don't wanna jinx anything though, just gonna let the snow does what it does.

I have been writing a lot lately, digging up memories from the past to make into lyrics. I think I hit a very good one last night in between playing bubble bobble with my floor and listening to The Killers. It is a very, very old story which somehow stuck with me after all these years and I felt the need to write about it the only way I know how...in lyrics. It is kind of like a cleansing of my mind, coming to terms with past events that have always kinda lingered around. Too bad I have no band to use them for, haha.

If you haven't yet, listen to the song Mess by Ben Folds Five, it is one of their most somber and regretful songs ever. I have been listening to it a lot lately and with this weather coming, it is the perfect mood music. This song has a lot of memory attatched to it from my own standpoint, but I am sure that you could relate to it somehow.

If anyone wants any music from almost any artist, let me know. I think I'll just put a few things out there that I just got and see if people want them: Bastard- Ben Folds( it is a live version of a song on his new album), a couple of new killers songs, any elliot smith record, any ben kweller record, new ray charles record, new postal service song. Some of these songs are protected by iTunes, so I can only give them to you in CD form but some I can send over IM or email.
