TOMMORROW NIGHT MAY 7- The North Battle Of The Bands......featuring such amazing acts as Eclipse and The Hippocampus. Be there or I will give you a freaking noogie to end all noogies.

Now that that is done......what has been going on in my life lately.(As Megan astutely wanted to know)

I have my one AP test tommorrow and I couldn't give a shit about it. I really couldn't. I am supposed to really be studying for this thing, but there is no way to study 250 years of American History....it is just too expansive. So I will do my best, try not to die and hope to God everyone else does just as bad as I do.

Life has been going as it always does, and I really don't have anything too new to put in here. I wake up everyday, shower, eat, do stuff during the day, come home, eat and sleep. It is a very systematic and boring life indeed. We were born to die....that is all there is to it. No matter how hard you try you will never be remembered when you are gone. Those who remember you will also go....and history will just eat you up in a continuous cycle. What we consider to be our "ancient history" is just a very small blemish on the world.....our time will pass and nothing we have done will be remembered. I am not saying to give up, because it is human nature to try to live life and not just rot away.....but life just goes and goes...then it ends, and you are gone. Those you love are gone, all your memories, your hopes, dreams....they are gone.Wanna know why old people are cranky.....they realize they have lived a life...and nothing has come from it...and they will die soon. That sure as hell would make me cranky. I don't know, I just am very tired. Later.

To those who read my sporadic online journal:
Much has happend lately so let me just get right to it. Uphill Battle sadly played it's last show on May first at the Clinton Community Center. These guys were a freaking North institution, the little( actually they had a shitload of members) ska band that could. They grew a very devoted following after 4 years of playing together, and I like to count myself as one of the devoted. If you never saw them play live, you missed out. I personally do not like ska music, but I always found Uphill Battle to be not an average ska band....what other ska band has a violin. So thank you Uphill Battle for 4 years of music.....you will be missed.

Now, to events coming up.

The North Battle of The Bands is coming up this Friday May 7th....and I need to sell some tickets. Approach me or any member of my band for tickets, they are 5 dollars a pop. Trust me, you do not want to miss this battle....some very good and entertaining bands are playing. Plus hey, you never know what kind of interesting and/or unique stuff can happen.

Finally, my Calgary Flames have a chance to beat the Red Wings in 6 games tommorrow night. Do not miss this hockey game, it is sure to be a good one.
