Finally fall is here. It is about time, I was beginning to wonder if the hot weather would dominate all of september and october. I love cold weather. I don't know exactly why but winter is always just freaking awesome. It just isn't fall until I start watching hockey though....and tonight I got to see a pre season game. The Rangers lost, but you know.....it's pre season so it's not a big deal. It was just great to see hockey again after a long summer of being deprived. The Rangers have a shot this year, I know it. I feel it in my bones.....they won't suck as bad as before. Maybe it is just a fans empty hope, but dammit I love the Rangers. I can't understand why hockey is not one of the nations top sports though, it is always the lowest rated of the major sports. I mean come on, basketball....baseball? Baseball is quite possibly the most boring sport to watch, and basketball players just make me sick with there arrogance. Hockey is aggressive, fast, exciting to watch and overall just a fun game to watch. There is always something happening at a hockey game, very rarely does action slow down or the fans get bored. I see baseball fans watching the TV at games.....watching TV! You paid $70 to sit in the stands and watch TV? Plus, what other sport allows fightiing.....with only a 5 minute penalty as a punishment. Hockey also has the greatest sportsmanship of any other sports. The playoff handshake is a sign of good sportsmanship and a damn fine way to end a series. The two teams show respect for each other by shaking hands, respect is the key word here folks. There is not enough respect left in the sports world dominated by scandal, arrogance, ridiculous salaries and whiny players. It is a game, never forget that.....you win, you lose as long as you had fun doing it.....it is good. Plus, sports players are payed entirely too much.....but I will talk about that one at another time. Ah yes, hockey is back, fall is here and dammit I am happy.Later.

I think everyone is insane in some way. It is completely unrealistic to believe that somebody can be of sound mind all the time, and there are just some things that literally make us go insane. Every man has his breaking point, and the scariest part about that is we have no way to know what that point is......the actual person may not even know what there own breaking point is. Certain actions, words or just the build up of many events can completely break someone up into something that is just a rage of emotion, lashing out at whatever is near. We are all a little crazy, so it is understandable how we can break out into irrational thought about things. Some people just think with their heart instead of their mind....and depending on your viewpoint that is either a downfall or an achievement. I prefer to think in a more irrational, impulsive way than others.....which get's me in trouble, but also is beneficial to my overall mental health. Thinking rationally and logically all the time can lead to a very lonely life, although it is very safe to think logically.......the risks are what life is all about, it makes it worth living. Wearing your heart on your sleeve always brings along the risk of pain, but at least you are being honest with yourself. You are lying to yourself by holding back your emotions all the time. I am not saying rational thought is bad in any way, but there is a certain balance to emotional and rational thought that is hard to find. I guess it all depends on the circumstance. We are all a little crazy, and circumstance makes us a little crazier than we are used to. Passion, stress, pain and insanity all walk a fine line with each other.......and they almost always are dependent on each other. Insanity drives out passion, stress causes insanity, pain leads to stress. We walk along every day on that line, but no one can see it. Only you know how close you are to the edge, how close you are to your breaking point. It's gonna be an interesting year, because I have an odd feeling I am going to see quite a lot of breaking points......and may even have a few of my own. Later.
