Well, I haven't updated in a while,so here I am finally getting back to this little piece of crap called my blog. I have been extremely busy the past couple of weeks, and it all seems like a blur now that I think about it. From taking AP tests to concerts to playing hockey( and lot's of it) I haven't had much free time to just chill and do nothing, which I kinda miss. So, I am gonna do nothing this weekend, and love every minute of it. I already said I have been playing a lot of hockey, which I absolutely love to do......and I love playing against people better than me. I think anytime you play against someone who is better, you are trying to prove that you are able to play at there level and it drives you to a level that nothing else can. I especially love playing against college kids, because they underestimate me because of my age and build......which is a mistake. Never underestimate anybody, because people are capable of amazing things if they are driven hard enough. I'm not saying I do amazing things at all, in fact the only reason I am able to compete with these guys is my speed and leg strength, but I am saying that not respecting someone who you are against or just not respecting someone in general is a mistake. You can never not respect an opponent and come out successful, you may win.....but you will not be successful. I love the NHL for many reasons, but one of my reasons may seem a little stupid and dumb, but it makes perfect sense. I love the NHL because of the playoff handshakes at the end of each series. Two teams that try to rip each other apart for up to 7 games come together when a winner is named, and shake hands. They show respect for each other, no other sport does that.....not lazy ass baseball players, and not overpriced whiny basketball player. Some say that respect is earned, and not given......that is true in a way, but I believe respect deals more with showing someone you can do the impossible with confidence.....then you truly earn respect. I don't know, again....I am insane so yeah, whatever.I'm out.
